Bash Flash
The concept behind Bash Flash is simple but noteworthy - sometimes Flash uses way too much processor and can potentially drain your laptop battery much more aggressively than it should. So how do you prevent it? Well, you could block all Flash entirely with an ad blocker or you could install Bash Flash and just have it warn you when Flash was hogging too much memory - giving you the ability to squash it dead in its tracks (at least momentarily). I'm not sure how much the average web user needs this but I can certainly see some processor power zealots nerding out with it.
