Still getting my feet wet with the full offering but, so far, the "found footage horror podcast"
Archive 81 is pretty entertaining. Much like
The Black Tapes, it's a scripted show that starts with a small scope but could go any number of directions, given whatever events unfold throughout the duration. The effects of the found tapes degredation and ambiguity of just exactly
what is happening is compelling to say the least.
Also like The Black Tapes, sometimes the acting can be a bit... offputting. As in, it's not always stellar.
However, just dive into an episode and know that you're listening to a story, not a journalistic endeavor and your expectations will be perfectly set.
