The National Archives have released their first mobile app. Today's Document is an extension of the daily feature on their site that shows some relevant historical document from that particular day in history. Sure it may sound nerdy and educational but that's the appeal.. it's nerdy and educational! And, bonus, it's free! Eater has some insight on a forthcoming app called Where The Ladies At? that takes FourSquare data and informs the user what bar / restaurant nearby has a high volume of women in attendance. On the surface, I find this incredibly amusing but with a little deeper look it stinks of desperation and sleazy behavior. Either way, it's a good reason to stop using Foursquare.
