Recently, the Animography project came into my worldview. It's a collection of animated letterforms that enable anyone with a little video know-how to include top notch motiongraphic titling in their projects. Look at this example for Franchise - superb. The project was put together by Jeroen Krielaars but each letter was tackled by different animators.
I love the idea behind the project and the results are undeniably great. Part of me has concerns about making packs like this because of a potential devaluing of the industry as a whole but that's a post for another day. For now, I'm just going to enjoy the resources.
