And speaking of CD purchasing.. I really wanted to pick up The Glow, Pt 2 by The Microphones but Tower didn't even have a spot for them. Weak to say the least. It made me think of this article from the CMT website (that I randomly came across, promise) that pretty much says what every other article about "the industry" says with the exception that it says record buyers are punished for shopping at Tower (and it's ilk) because they don't have the prices - just the deep and wide catalog. But they don't have the deep and wide catalog, OR the loss-leader prices.. thank goodness for e-commerce. Quite a rant, eh?
