Nicolas Godin, Club 9

If you have not heard the the solo record from AIR's Nicolas Godin I highly suggest you take the time to partake. Of course it's streaming on Spotify but you really should watch the videos as your introduction. Orca and Widerstehe Doch Der Sunde exist at opposite ends of the spectrum for Godin; musically and visually.

The latest video, for Club 9, was directed by Iracema Trevisan and features additional vocals from Miranda July. The song itself is a pleasant stroll through the park but July's narration and Trevisan's animations inject that French cheekiness that manages to be sad, over-the-top and acceptably silly all at once. It's another quality entry in the music video catalog for Godin.
