There are many reasons to be excited for the new record,
The Stand-In, from
Caitlin Rose. My friend
Rachel Briggs did the artwork. My friend
Aaron Hartley is her manager. Her
backing band is awesome. But beyond all that, the record is just highly enjoyable.
Her first record,
Own Side Now, was a treat but
The Stand-In continues to show prime examples of how she's
killing it recently. The album has more of everything - production values, confidence and heartbreak included. It's seriously great. This
