Podington Bear: Season 3

I subscribe to very few podcasts but Podington Bear has been in my aggregation cycle for some time. The previous season consisted entirely of instrumental compositions; no talking, no context for the songs.. just quality music. The third Season recently started and the format has changed. While I would typically assume I would not be comfortable with the narration now included in each broadcast I actually find it very refreshing.. it's great to get some insight into the background of each piece, the influences and just to hear the thoughts of the musician who creates the music that I've been enjoying for some time now.

I suggest you subscribe and catch up on previous downloads.

Podington Bear: Season 2

Turns out that the Podington Bear podcast has returned. If you are unfamiliar with the podcast, go listen to the first song from Season 2 and familiarize yourself with the instrumental goodies put forth on a free and regular basis. There are plenty of other things to see on the site but my recommendation is to subscribe to the podcast.

Talk about an ambitious project. The Podington Bear podcast promises to deliver three new instrumental tracks a week for the year of 2007. That's a whole lot of music to put out there. You can subscribe via iTunes or just check out the sites on the official site. It will be interesting to check back in come March, or July, or October to see if the project is still going strong.
