If you don't feel sufficiently weirded out by the Baby Wee Wee video might I suggest these
Living Statue videos? NSFW but really just more weird than anything else.
Have a great weekend.

Summer Mix Series Thanks
So I was checking the stats on the
Summer Mix Series and it is, apparently, getting more traffic and referrals than I imagined. Many thanks to the following:
I'm guessing that La Blogotheque post got some French interest because now the site has a handful of
french mixes. Nice!
I realize the Summer Mix Series is overwhelming but if you need suggestions, feel free to ask.

Photostream goodness
The
Ben Pearce photostream is, far and away, the best thing I've encountered on the Internet in a long long time. It's 60+ pages of pure unadulterated goodness. Many of the images are NSFW but that's par for the course. Honestly, I love this so much that I'm even hesitant to post it at all.. it's
that good. My deepest gratitudes to
Jessica for the link.

Friday Videos - June 3rd, 2008 (Thursday Edition)
I probably won't be on the computer too much tomorrow.. so here are your Friday videos, a day early! Not exactly "Independence Day" themed but a healthy reminder that in a free society you can be as weird as you desire.
Many thanks to
Joey for the Citreon commercial - more of that variety can be found
here.
Enjoy your independence.

The Website Is Down
The Website Is Down is making the rounds and is worth a watch if you appreciate the dynamic between nerdy tech guy and ignorant sales guy. Be forewarned about the NSFW language but it's pretty hilarious little trial and tribulation. The best part is the Remote Desktop to the sales guy computer... so stick around for that.

A Collection of Unexpected Photography
FILE Magazine has a great collection of photos. In fact, they're all stored in a gallery entitled
A Collection of Unexpected Photography. It seems like a new image is added every few days and there's a nice wide variety of styles found throughout. There are a few NSFW pieces in there so be forewarned.
Amazingly, it seems that each photo vaguely relates to the one posted prior to it. Either in theme, similar images or coloration the entire gallery seems to be strung together with some nifty connections.

Six Weird Videos - May 16th, 2008
A few notes:
- The MUTO short is beyond impressive.
- Batman on Drugs - you just need about 15 seconds of this one but the head bopping is mesmerizing.
- Not Today... courtesy of CMikesell. Best 9 seconds of video existing on the Internet today.
- O'Reilly Remix: Don't watch this if you're not into vulgarity, over reactions and hot dance beatz. If you've not seen the original, please go here. Mayor of Jerkville, USA. But I did die laughing at the remix.
- Treadmill Kittens: Please let this be the next Internet meme.. I could watch it all day. Watch it here since the owners disabled embedding (lame).
- Baby Fight - good concept, average execution.
Also, if you've not seen
this video from
The Bird and The Bee you are missing out - just from a technical standpoint it's impressive. Musically... they are destined for the next Zach Braff helmed project soundtrack.
Have a great weekend.
If you're still reading, this video is too crazy for words.

Green Porno
Green Porno is a series of shorts by
Isabella Rossellini where she explains what life would be like if she were any number of different species of bugs. The lo-fi production values and "do it yourself" special effects are perfectly done. Some of the content is probably NSFW if you're boss isn't into things that happen in nature constantly but seeing her explain the way a bee colony works is completely worth the risk.

Choke: The Movie
If you did not know it, the
Chuck Palahniuk book "Choke" is being made into a
movie. It's set for release on August 1st, was directed by
Clark Gregg and stars the likes of Sam Rockwell and Anjelica Houston. You can watch a clip of it
here or watch a mini "behind the scenes" version
here (both contain NSFW concepts) but I warn you, it's pretty mundane. Maybe I am comparing it to the greatness of Fight Club or maybe I'm just biased because I remember enjoying the book but the trailer presents itself as a schlocky low budget made for Spike TV movie. The music during
this clip plays a big part in that but whatever it is, lets hope they get corrected before its final release.

Your Work Day Destroyed
I was going to hype up the
MMK Kobayashi Photostream as, honestly, one of the most engaging and fascinating photostreams of collected images that I'd run across in a long time but I'm going to let you discover it on your own. Without trying to point out
specific examples of all the things I find so great you will be forced to unearth your own favorite gems. It teeters out around page 22 but that's still a whole lot to get through. Some vaguely NSFW imagery if that's what you're wondering...
Update: Apparently after linking this the user took down their account. No clue why but them's the breaks. Damn you internets!

Chad.
