NC trip

The Great North Carolina Adventure™ has come to an end. Hopefully some of the more media savvy individuals will have loads of photos and videos online sometime this week but for now all I can give you is a rundown of the weekend in reverse: airport dropoff, grimeys, las palmas mexican, six hour mountain drive, Bojangles breakfast, ice removal from car, sleep, early departure from party featuring rawk band with surprisingly intelligent name, Asahi 6-pack, extremely greasy and good bar food at Penguin, naptime during Finding Neverland, CD shopping at Manifest, phosphates at Pikes, extreme hillside ice sliding, sleep, Landmark cooldown with Madie, "Say It Ain't So" group karaoke, jack n coke, embarassing but hilarious rendition of karaoke "Rio", constant intake of Jack N Coke, Sco-be - King of Soundgarden, balls-to-the-wall bowling, beers, cole squaw & food at Lupie's, Strangers with Candy, Oprah, Scott Harkey Honda Accord freezeout, Pepto-Bismol regurgitation, drive to Charlotte, sleep, late night waffles, freaking fantastic Arcade Fire show, hanging with Grant, being impressed by Final Fantasy despite my initial reaction, pizza and beer with Drew Heffron and Lauren at Barleys, drive to Asheville, lunch with Ben Frank, Jamie, and Daniel at Tin Roof, work, sleep, beers at Mercy Lounge, bowling alley meetup, pickup Ryan at airport, depart for airport.

Holy crap I think that is it.. though I am sure to be forgetting something. I still can't believe how insanely fun the weekend was. I extend a hearty thank you to all involved - Ryan, Sarah, Scott, Mason, Jeremy, Hala, Deuce, Robbie, Grant, Drew, Lauren, and mini Ben Frank (aka Jason).
