Star Wars Uncut progress

If you have not heard of the Star Wars: Uncut project yet, do yourself a favor and watch the trailer above. Casey has done an incredible job putting this whole project together and the trailer shows the diversity of what people have come up with. Apparently there are still 82 scenes awaiting completion before the first run through of the recut film could be watched; hopefully the above video will inspire people to get to it.

I think it's also worth mentioning that even if you don't like Star Wars or Star Wars Internet memes this project, to me, goes well beyond that and showcases a good bit of technology, crowdsourcing and DIY ingenuity. I think everyone can get behind that.
